Role Description 

Pivt is currently hiring Community Managers for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, who will be responsible for driving participation and engagement on Pivt’s social platform. The main objective of this position is to be dedicated towards helping remote and mobile employees dedicated to assisting (and their families) get connected and seamlessly integrated in their new city. We are looking for self-driven, ambitious and tech-savvy individuals with experience in social media, PR and event planning. In essence, you will be the face of Pivt, helping build communities that engage users and provide a wealth of information that will inspire well-being.
This role is a part-time and an independent contractor position with flexible hours.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Provide relevant and helpful community knowledge of Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to newly relocated users (schools, restaurants, neighborhoods, services, etc.)
  • Ability to moderate channels, spark conversation, create content, help newly relocated users with their questions/concerns on their city, and boost engagement
  • Create and implement social media and communication strategies
  • Organize and manage events and activities based on user feedback and interest
  • Keep current with digital technology related to community interaction


  • Has extensive community knowledge of Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex (schools, restaurants, neighborhoods, services, etc.)
  • Willingness to research and self-educate 
  • Desire to use networking and social connections in an ongoing fashion to achieve business goals
  • Preference for individuals who have relocated to the area themselves and are familiar with the challenges of finding connections in a new community
  • Strong verbal/writing skills and access to a computer
  • Hands-on experience with social media communication and tools
  • Experience planning and running community events and activities
